COYABA — Pain Relief Oil

Coyaba — "heaven" in Taíno, the indigenous language of Borikén (Puerto Rico)

Named from the Taíno word for heaven, Coyaba is a whole-plant botanical preparation built for pain, tension, and recovery. Four plants -- two Caribbean, two classic -- are slow-infused into organic Moringa oleifera seed oil. Made by hand in Borikén.

Moringa seed oil provides the anti-inflammatory base -- rich in oleic acid and tocopherols, documented to reduce pro-inflammatory cytokine activity and nourish the skin barrier.

Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary) is one of the most studied botanicals for circulation and muscle relief, with well-documented analgesic and warming properties that support recovery and ease tension.

Pimenta racemosa (Bay Rum Tree) is native to the Caribbean and has been used as an analgesic across the region for generations. Its anti-inflammatory properties are mediated by terpenes including abietic acid and lupeol, and it has documented antinociceptive properties -- meaning it actively works to reduce pain signaling.

Bursera simaruba (Almácigo) is a sacred Caribbean tree known across indigenous traditions for treating arthritis, rheumatism, and muscle pain.

Ingredients

Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil, Rosmarinus officinalis, Pimenta racemosa, Bursera simaruba

our approach to medicine making

We source all of our plants in Borikén (Puerto Rico), and craft with intention, honoring the plants and asking for permission. Our formulas are minimal for a reason, to focus on what supports and to leave it completely created from nature.
